The Fernandez-Aetos Scholarship Program is a transformative initiative designed to support students pursuing careers in Accountancy, Economics, and Engineering.

Through comprehensive financial support, combined with mentorship and values formation, we’re creating ethical, financially literate professionals who will generate lasting impact on our nation.

This strategic partnership between Aetos and the Fernandez family aligns directly with the mission of creating a better life for all, positioning Aetos as a leader in education-driven social impact.

Two Scholarship Options

Option 1: Fernandez Scholarship
For incoming BS Accountancy students: Developing future Certified Public Accountants with strong ethical foundations and technical excellence. This track focuses on building professionals who will uphold the highest standards of integrity in financial reporting and auditing.

Option 2: Aetos Scholarship
For incoming students BS Economics, Engineering (only courses with board exam) and other related courses (subject to approval). Building competent leaders who will drive business growth and economic development. These scholars will develop expertise in improving our nation’s economic policy and advancing new technologies.

Comprehensive Scholar Benefits

1. Financial Support – P5,400 per month for 10 months (paid in 4 weekly payments) = Total of P54,000 per year
2. Mentorship – Guidance from experience professionals throughout academic journey
3. Academic Monitoring – Regular performance tracking and support services
4. Leadership Development – Values formation and character building programs

Who should apply?

  • Incoming first-year college student (first sem or second sem)
  • Accepted into eligible degree programs
  • Must have an average grade of 80% or equivalent and no grade below 80%
  • Strong math and analytical thinking
  • Strong moral character
  • Demonstrated financial constraints
  • Submission of income documentation
  • Household financial situation review

Application Requirements
Documents Required
1. Completed application form (please get this from us)
2. Report card/transcript
3. Financial documents / Payslip / Tax Return / Proof of monthly income of parents / Letter signed by both parents and the scholar stating their current job and monthly income
4. A maximum 5-minute video explaining why we should accept you as a scholar that includes an explanation of your academic excellence, character, and financial need.
5. Two (2) Recommendation letters to attest to the student’s competence and character from your math and science teachers
6. Assessment & Interview Rating Sheet (to be given by us after your interview)
7. Proof of admission or enrollment in the school chosen (can be submitted after)
***If you cannot submit some of the documents above, please contact us so we can give alternative documents

Limitations:
1. Applicants must be incoming first-year students (first sem or second sem)
2. Grade average must be at least 80%, and no grade below 80%.
3. Must be aged 17-20 only
4. Financial support is given on a weekly basis
5. Accredited schools (public schools only):
-Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)
-Technological University of the Philippines (TUP)
-University of the Philippines (UP)
-Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM)
-University of Makati (UMak)
-Philippine Normal University
-Rizal Technological University (RTU)
-Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST)
-Other public schools may be approved on a case-by-case basis as long as they are near Metro Manila
6. Allowed courses are accountancy, engineering (only those with board exam) and economics.
7. Scholarships may be terminated at any time due to violation of terms and conditions or any valid reason as determined by the donors

Timeline

Application opening date: May 6, 2026
Deadline: June 30, 2026
Interview dates: July 1 to July 6, 2026
Announcement date: July 7, 2026

The Advantage of Fernandez – Aetos Scholarship

Scholars will not only receive financial support but will also receive regular coaching from the leaders at Aetos Financial, who are graduates of accountancy, engineering, and similar courses.
